Old MacGiant Had a Farm karya Tien Sri Suhartini, S.S

Long time ago, there lived a monster in a cave deep in a jungle. He was known as a beast since he liked to eat any kind of creature with no mercy.

One day he felt extremely hungry. No more animal he could preyed and ate easily because he got them massively. The Giant decided to walked further from his cave than usual to get on his prey. He no longer walked fast since he was weaken after no food for days. He sat  on a log, resting his painful stomach and body. Then, he smelled something delicious but it was not the smell of animal flesh. His stomach was dancing wildly, longing for food. He followed that amazing smell. He thought was that animal's meat that he never met before?

Finally he found a hut, from which smoke came out through the chimney, spreading the most delicious smell he could ever imagine. He came close the hut and roared. That was he only could do to terrify his preys. Then came out a spouse from the hut.

"What do you want, Giant?" Asked the husband.

"I'm curious, is that you who smell really tempting like this?" Said the Giant to the spouse.

"I guess it's not us. Actually we are cooking a pot of porridge. You will taste milk, sugar, and Chocolate in it." Explained the husband. The wife saw that the Giant looked confused. So she entered the hut and took a big bowl full of porridge.

"Here, you can try the porridge" said the wife handed the bowl.

Surprisingly, when the Giant smelled the porridge he became friendly. The smell and the hunger he felt made him super calm.

The Giant was hesitate at first but the spouse made him ate the porridge. The first taste was amazing. It was very smooth unlike the meat that made him chewing a lot and hurt his tooth.

The spouse smiled when they saw how the Giant enjoyed the porridge.

"You see, Mr. Giant, you can eat something delicious just like when you eat meat. If you eat us, you will have noone to share this kind of meal. Furthermore I will teach you how to get some food easily for the rest of your life. You will never be starving anymore." Said the husband. He knew what the Giant had experienced.

"Really? I will not be starving, anymore?" Asked the Giant. He felt so happy to hear what a promising future he would have.

From that time, the spouse taught the Giant how to grow

vegetables and breed the livestocks. He also learned how to eat vegetables which lately he loved most. The Giant felt healthier and happier. He thanked the spouse for leading him to such a wonderful life.
